Monday.com Integration in TraqNext

Overview

TraqNext syncs your Monday.com boards and items so users can track time on work assigned to them. Assigned tasks are fetched into TraqNext for clean and simple tracking.

Step 1: Open Integrations in TraqNext

1. Log in to your TraqNext web app.
2. Go to Integrations from the right-side menu.
3. Click on Integrations.

4. You can see the list of available integrations.

Step 2: Connect Your Monday.com Account

1. Click on Connect button for Monday.com

2. A pop up will appear. Click on the Connect now button.

3. You will need to install TraqNext on monday.com. Clicks on Add to Monday.

Note: If already installed then just click on Connect button.

4. The Monday.com login page will open. You will need to enter your monday.com email and password.

5. After step 4, you will need to click on Install button.

6. TraqNext is successfully installed on Monday.com.

7. After this, you will need to connect monday.com again from the TraqNext web application, just like you did in Step 2.

8. Then after this, you will need to click on Connect button.

9. Then you will be redirected to the authorization page. Click on Authorize button.

10. After that, a success message will appear, and within a few moments the monday.com tasks will start showing in the TraqNext desktop app.

Step 3: Task Visibility

Only the Monday.com tasks assigned to a specific user will be fetched for that user and displayed in the TraqNext Desktop App. Unassigned tasks will not be fetched or displayed.

As you can see in the image, the project and tasks created here under the Workspaces section will be synced and will appear in the TraqNext desktop app.

If a task is not assigned to a user, that task will not be visible to the user.

Once Monday.com tasks are synced and appear in the TraqNext app, you can track them here.

Authentication Issues & Re-Connecting

If Monday.com rejects the connection due to policy or session expiry, TraqNext sends a notification email.

How to Fix it:

Click the Connect button again from the TraqNext Web App integration page and provide your credentials to restore the integration and fetch the latest data.
