Trello Integration in TraqNext

Overview

TraqNext allows you to connect your Trello boards and automatically fetch cards assigned to your team members. This helps users track their Trello tasks directly inside the TraqNext Desktop App for time tracking.

Step 1: Open Integrations in TraqNext

1. Log in to your TraqNext web app.
2. Go to Integrations from the right-side menu.
3. Click on Integrations.

4. You can see the list of available integrations.

Step 2: Connect Your Trello Account

1. Click on Connect button for Trello.

2. A pop up will appear. Click on the Connect now button.

3. The Trello login permission page will open. Click on login button.

4. Then, you will need to enter your Trello email and password.

5. Trello authorization access page will open. Click on Allow button.

6. After that, a success message will appear, and within a few moments the Trello tasks will start showing in the TraqNext desktop app.

Step 3: Task Visibility

Only the Trello cards assigned to a specific user will be fetched for that user and displayed in the TraqNext Desktop App. Cards not assigned to the user will not be fetched and will not appear in the application.

As you can see in the image, the board and cards created here will be synced and appear in the TraqNext desktop app.

If a card is not assigned to a user, that card will not be visible to the user.

Authentication Issues & Re-Connecting

Authentication may fail due to Trello’s policy changes or token expiration. If this happens, TraqNext sends you a notification email.

How to Fix it:

Simply click the Connect button again from the TraqNext Web App integration page and provide your credentials to restore the integration and fetch the latest data.
